1. Login
- Login to My Kids as Parent. (For detailed steps Click Here)
2. Select the user profile to be filtered
- If you need help setting up new users, Click Here
3. Selecting
- Select Settings tab and Site Filters sub-tab
- Select the categories of the content that you want to block this user from accessing.
- Alternatively, you can select Block All Categories.
- Click the Apply button.
- (Optional) Click the Advanced Settings link to identify specific sites this user is allowed or is blocked from accessing.

- You can specify these sites by using the following options:
- To allow specific websites only:
- Step 1: Check the box for Block all sites except the sites listed in the Allow or block list.
- Step 2: Type the name of the website or web link (URL) you want to allow.
- Step 3: Click the Add button. (The site will populate in the Sites list)
- Step 4: Click the Domain box if the website is a domain. (Note: Clicking the Domain column for a website like pbs.org will block every site that is under that header. Example: pbs.org/newshour will also be blocked. If you clear the Domain column for a web link, then only the exact web link will be allowed or blocked. Your restriction will not apply to other pages on the same website.)
- Repeat steps 2 though 4 to allow multiple websites for this user.
- Step 5: Click the Apply button to save your settings.
- To block specific websites only:
- Step 1: Clear the box for Block all sites except the sites listed in the Allow or block list.
- Step 2: Type the name of the website or web link (URL) you want to block.
- Step 3: Click the Add button. (The site will populate in the Sites list)
- Step 4: Select the Block button.
- Repeat steps 2 though 4 to block multiple websites for this user.
- Step 5: Click the Apply button to save your settings.
