If your Total Defense PC Tune-Up scan is taking an abnormal amount of time to complete could be caused by running Benchmark Scans.
Benchmark Scans are used for statistics gathering to help you find more about the baseline performance of your computer. They do not improve system stability or performance, so disabling those options will not impact the functionality of the software.
You can disable these options by:
- Opening Total Defense PC Tune-Up.
- Clicking the More Options menu and select Scan Settings from the drop down menu.
- Within the Scan Settings menu find the options for Scan Benchmarks and Run 2D Video Tests. Select Off from each drop down menu and then click Submit to apply your changes.
